At this session, Dr. Corey Billington will share his view on :
«From Combative To Cooperative – Double The Value Of Your Procurement Function»
The procurement function, once called purchasing, is rapidly changing. Purchasing focused on the price of commodities it purchased. Complex services are replacing commodities forcing a change in the nature of procurement. As such, future procurement success will be more than powerful negotiation.
Cooperation is a source of increasing value, especially by reducing waste, and is becoming a vital competence. By examining these emerging challenges and opportunities, we will be able to avoid many pitfalls and greatly improve value for buyers and sellers.
